confirmation no, but you will still get your merit increment.

will get promotion increment and merit increment when you are promoted to GEO 3 in april or oct

If I'm on GEO 1, when I'm confirmed, will I get promoted to GEO 2 the following year?

If u are a fresh grad, it's dependent on entry qualifications
