JG15 is impossible for me to reach in this lifetime. My section is so small, there's only one JG15. I will at most retire at JG14, just like the majority of the AHP minions.

Depend on your department. I think my department of about 150 pax only have two JG17 and both are PhD

There are JG15 and 16, but in reality, how many ppl can be principal and senior principal? Most will retire as senior JG14.

10 years possible for high flyer. Mostly stuck at JG14 til retirement.

Do fresh local uni grads start at JG11? Or JG12?
