Thanks for your comment. Out of curiosity, what is your role?

Share some hope as a HiPo.
15 years, from 3k to 9k salary.
Dy HOD
JG15 now, from JG12
I suspect my ceiling is JG17, if I manages to become HOD.
Salary can potentially hit around 14-16k.
All these are basic.
Usually 16.5 months package.

To add on:
Current annual pay package is 9k x 16.5 = around 150k
EE in TPM every year.
Highest potential:
16k x 16.5 = 264k
So to let all the AHPs know, even in PHIs you can potentially have a good living.
But will take at least 20 years with alot of leadership position.

Has alll the money gone to rebranding NHG???

NHG has other variable payouts as well. Usually 1 mth in Dec (on top of AWS) and another performance-based bonus.
So in total will be close to 3 mth bonus as well.

From my knowledge from an ex-colleague, 6% increment per promotion no matter the grade. This is for SingHealth.

Based on past posts, I'm assuming around the rank of JG13 or something.
|
Let's try to do a calculation based on conservative estimates. Starting off as a fresh grad at JG11 drawing $3,800/mth basic, salary increment of 3.5%/year, with 2 promotions to JG13 in 10 years (6% increment for each promotion), 2X MOH adjustment of 4% each, and 4 mth total bonus (including AWS).
$3,800 x 1.035^10 x 1.06^2 x 1.04^2 x 16 = $104,228 annual
Yes, you can hit $100K annual after 10 years based on conservative estimates. In reality should be more.

It depends on your RO and how he sees the career progression of the team. But there is a job grade cap for diploma holders (JG14 if I'm not wrong) based on policy.

This is true, but only for HiPo which is only for the top 5% or so if you farm from the bottom. Average staff won't ever reach there.
Another way is to jump out of healthcare and join back as an experienced hire at JG16/17.

I am the poster for the previous 5 posts, with 2 years in healthcare as a JG15 RO of a team. The numbers and facts I've posted are pretty accurate, as I was exposed to a lot of policies and involved in promoting my staffs etc. Just helping out those trying to figure out whether a healthcare career is right for you.
