And most of us don't get this amount. This is likely for a higher JG. Plus we need to do shift and long work hours.

Yea. That's what I notice for NUHS too. NUHS inflated the lower titles.
11 Senior Exec
12 Asst Manager
13 Senior Asst Manager
14 Manager
15 Snr Manager
16 Asst Director

One level inflated. Singhealth 13 is senior executive, 14 is asst manager, 15 is manager, 16 is senior manager, 17 is assistant director.

This is a near 40yo guy with 13 years experience.
In most other industries he would be earning 15 to 20k.
In IT and banking people would have this pay working less than 10 years.
AHPs pay is highly suppressed and the workload is high and stressful.
The complaints are justified.

Assistant director sounds like admin title or appointment rather than ahp title.

Some 17 doesn't go by the title of assistant director.

Exactly.... And this is just an outlier case. Cos 90% of us in AHP doesn't earn this much at 39 years old.

May I know more details about contract positions for executives for NHG? Have an interview coming up and I don't want to expect too much or too little for myself. Am a local uni fresh grad with a tech-related bachelors. 'Executive' role will be doing technical responsibilities too. If I was asked on my expected monthly renumeration, is 4.5k fair? Taking into account that this is a contract role, will there be any bonuses for me during the 'contract' duration? Also, if I do get converted to perm after contract ends, will there be any salary revisions?

Sent in my application and was told that their expected budget is around 3.5++. Told them my expected is actually 5k but since this is a ‘public/govt’ sector Im okay to drop my expected to 4.5k- range. After a week of waiting, I was notified that I am being shortlisted. Does that mean that in the event I passed the interview(s), I will get what I asked for? (i.e. my 4.5k- range).
Secondly, given that this is a 1 year contract role, will I be eligible for their PB/ VB/AWS/related bonuses? Can anyone shed some light from their own experiences in a contract role? And also benefits such as Days of AL, hybrid arrangements or any other form of benefits.
P.S. The role I applied for is a Analyst/Tech related role, not adminstrative etc.
