yes ..... u need to demostrate u can do fresh grad level work before being considered for more serious positions
case in point, a lot of diploma holders who get promoted to fresh grad positions after 15-20 years in service without degree struggle a lot with the shift

AH14: 5440 to 9140
Range is very wide for AH14, I guess most of us will eventually retire at this job grade.

This is useful. Is AH14 job title Manager?
Can anyone share SingHealth's revised salary range as I'm looking to join back healthcare?

Offering lower salary than my current role. Why did they think this is a good idea. Waste of time.

I'm in the exact same situation as you. Got my degree in 2022. But no chance of executive level position. Fresh grad also when join no such experience but given exec position. We have working almost 12 years and should be able to pick it up quickly. Just making sure we learn the roles properly so that we can perform. If no chances are given to us, how will they know if we can perform or not. At least can trial and see if we can handle before offering the next level. Totally disappointed 😞

Ya, HR are just bunch of gaslighter and ********ter.
I held a role that requires degree through recommendation, but due to my Qualification, I had a 7 grade demotion(Readjustment). But now telling me I can't be considered for Senior executive because my degree was recently credited.

Previous range in 2022 per the collective agreement is:
AH11: 2500-5150 (18% to 6% change)
AH12: 3200-5800 (10% to 8.1% change)
AH13: 4260-7240 (7.7% to 6.4% change)
AH14: 5040-8560 (7.9% to 6.7% change)
Can double check percentages.
Seems like the lower ranks/pay will increase more.
Usually same across clusters.
Food for ur thought:
2022 inflation: 4.1%
2023 inflation: 4.2%
2024 inflation: 2.4%

a lot of uncle/auntie with diploma spoil market.
want exec and above pay, got promoted but refuse to learn or improve, only want to book meeting rooms, help their boss arrange meetings and food for catering.
don't even want to take meeting minutes which is basic for a fresh grad position.

This!
I totally agree, I have a few older staffs who want promotion but still want to continue with what they are currently doing. Don't want to learn things that can improve work efficiency. End up, we don't get a chance due to their mentality...
