When did you join? Since graduation? If since graduation, by 38yr should reach above 7k at least for above average performance

if really average all the way. consider you promote once in yr 2, 6 and 14.. you likely reach 8k in around 18yrs
note that increment for avg performer is jus 2 to 4% at early part of your career and the percent reduces as you climb.
for promotion year, you can expect around 10%-12%

If im not mistaken normal C grade should be $100+ to $200+ if your lucky. So it makes sence.
