really, this guy is such a loser.
Im from nus and 1st class. Getting people in who arent qualified to review qualified lawyers work flies against spirit of the act. So if u r a medical doctor u can let unqualified doctors into big hospitals to supervise qualified doctors

Too bad humji kias here including myself don't dare to name and shame firms. Let's start off with the sh!t firms do:
1. Abusive toxic workplace in breach or borderline in breach of MOM laws.
2. Slave firms taking advantage of glut for free or underpaid intern / trainees or getting paid instead.
3. Nepotism and guanxi firms.
4. Firms hiring cheap foreign lawyers/paralegals e.g. Malaysian called to advise on local law under the guise of a "consultant"
5. Firms which have undertable referral fee arrangement with other law firms and/or non-law firms e.g. car workshops
...

Default RLT allowance

What training allowance is considered too Low/underpaid for RLT?
Can you RLT at a firm where RLT trainees are paid differently?
Also just because your paid Low, does that auto mean the firm classifies you as menial cheap labour and dosent put in effort to train you? Please say this is not true..

the focus will probably be on the trainee that is being paid more i think, but if you prove to be worthwhile, then you too should probably get trained.
