if you do 90 percent of work, when are you ever ready to go out and meet clients or bring in deals ? you must be from a local firm without any form of mentorsship and grooming.

The basic expectation is that as a lawyer, your English must be up to scratch. And we're not even talking about editing the substance of your content.
Believe me people get picked on for more than just grammar. If you're servicing major clients, I've even seen less good looking associates being shunted aside for more attractive ones.
Its a pretty unforgiving industry; that's the harsh truth.

Then what you want me to do? Blame parents for giving birth to you?
Blame parents for being 1.52m???
Blame parents for looking small and scrawny?

Yes, you could do all of the above. And consider legal action.

I mean Against employer for discriminatory hiring practices, not against your parents for failure of specific performance.

There used to be judges that would mock you for spelling or grammatical errors in your submissions, and in front of your client to boot.
Those judges are no longer with us, thankfully. From what I can see in this thread as well, a good many of you are not - or do not aspire to be - in litigation. Can’t really say I blame anyone who opts out (heh), because you need a really thick hide to put up with that mocking and belittling on a regular basis.
With that said, I don’t begrudge anyone their bitching after a bad day at work. Just keep in mind the profession that you chose, and the minimum standards that necessarily apply as such. Demanding a pass on a less than perfect demonstration of the English language at work - well, you might as well ask to be forgiven for having a subnormal IQ instead.
You are a lawyer. Act like one, for ****’s sake.

like i said la ur first day in the working world is it
its crap, it sucks and is unfair. kaobei also wont make the shiat flow uphill. the whole point of work is to make ur boss look good, tts what ur paid for. tt i need to tell u this alr means ur in wrong line of work.
might as well ask why water wet and sky blue. tts ur mentorship and grooming right there ok, take it in the backside until u realise this is the way of the corporate world.

It is little wonder why the subservient ones can never rise up to become a boss.
Every day major decisions needed to be make.
You think who gotten the time to go amend and pick on some typo or grammer mistskes ?
