Lol u rlly want to ask LAW STUDENTS for legal advice? Most law students don’t know **** about ****.
But let me give you an analogy. U r supposed to clean ur room and u didn’t. Ur sibling catches u and tells u that u shd have done it, and if u don’t, ur sibling will tell ur parents, who will punish u. Do u need ur parents to enforce?

Only real downside I can see is precisely that the front load portion being a “bonus”, the firm is at liberty to claw it back when you decide to leave.

Without front load, ~5.5. Go work admin earn high 4 low 5. At most give you low 4. 1k diff you can swallow for the liability and stress you can swallow?

For those who get distinctions for Part B, what kind of perks are there?
Or merely bragging rights?

Distinctions in themselves don’t mean much, but it means something if you get enough distinctions to be ranked among the top 10. Same as for getting first class honours. It’s something you can put in your CV.
