Hello, apologies I do mean 5 years for existing employees. If you are an external hire, believe the bank is generally able to offer you a pay jump from your current salary. What role are you interviewing for?

This is possible. If you are a top performer consistently and it’s a top BB, it’ll be even better.
E.g. Year 0-2: Graduate from the program and get promoted to Assoc, Year 4: Promoted to Senior Assoc, Year 6/7: Promoted to VP, and Year 10-12: Promoted to ED (18k and up)

Thanks. If it isn't a top BB, what would be the avg yoe to break the 10k mark as a grad proj hire? As mentioned, the starting is ard 4.5k I'm thinking year 7-8 would be a safe expectation.

Hi sorry if its a dumb question, what banks are considered as top BB? I searched up online and there are many different opinions, the common ones that appear are usually JPM/GS. Is that the case?

Top-tier: GS/JPM/MS
Mid-tier: Barclays/CS/Citi
Lower-tier: UBS/DB/BofA

Far fetched. Most of the 3k ops workers in baml at 8 years exp still avp making 7-8k. With 0.7 months bonus. Unless you are creme DE LA creme, which obviously isn't everybody...
