Civil Svc/ Statboard - Typical Timeline for making a Hiring Decision

Would greatly appreciate if anyone could share the interview timeline for PUB engineers.
Understand that HR will notify you are shortlisted or unsuccessful within 4 weeks of the closing job posting. Wondering how strict/accurate is the 4 weeks deadline.
Today is the end of the 4th week. I have the relevant experience and skillsets but I have yet to receive any interview calls from HR

The wait is nerve-wrecking…

Some posting say if you are short listed or not but never do the or not part then status show in progress
I got jobs more than a year still in progress

doesn't matter if u assume your experience / skill sets r relevant or not 100%
the hiring side must also find that you have some stuff/competencies on the table then they jio u come down for F2F session

Yes provisional offer (for SB). Now waiting (2nd week) to complete my background check.
