so u apply job but havent go interview?

Got approached by a hiring manger from an SB to fill in a different role than i applied.

My timeline was pretty quick imo
Round 1 - Assignment. 7 days to work on it
Round 2 - Informed i was shortlisted 4-5 days after submission
Offer - 10 days after Round 2 interview, got a call stating interest and checking if i am still interested in the job.

Verbal and email offer was given on the same day but LOA given after security clearance, estimated 2-3 weeks.

About 1 week in, hoping to be given the green light and clear in the coming days 😰 the waiting and anxiety is surely is real...

Update: HR got back to me last week notifying that security clearance is cleared. Signed the contract. To others still waiting, dont lose hope!!

My updated timeline

Early May: Applied for job
Early June: Hiring Manager got back to me with another a diff role, Round 1 two days later
Mid June: Shortlisted for Round 2 Interview scheduled 3 days later
End June: Hiring Manager called to update that i am selected for the role, HR sent an verbal offer via email on the same day
End June: Accepted verbal offer, kick start Security Clearance
Early July: Passed security clearance, contract received for signing today

likely only for those that they r interested to bring to the latter stages of the hiring process
don't think it makes sense to clear the whole lockstock given the effort and resources to comb/dig for past info

Got rejection emails again 😔
