It is mentioned that the public service cares not only about grades attained at university but also pre-university MOE education. Although the Careers@Gov portal does give the applicant the choice of indicating performance in national exams and CCA achievements, what would happen if I leave those out (i.e. would rather not talk about them)? Will the HR be able to find out more from MOE/SEAB?

so long as nothing appears in the form of formal job offer or even pdf letter
don't assume it's safely landed.

Hi,
A question.
I’m already placed on permanent establishment in my current role in Ministry A. If I were to get offered a new job in a Statutory Board B (not under same Ministry A), would I be able to retain the permanent role in Statutory Board B? Or would I have to restart as a contract staff again in Statutory Board B?
I understand inter-ministry transfer allows retainment of benefits, including permanent estab to be mapped over

some posts in this forum seem to have mentioned before that the ministry or stat board might only offer contract, while retaining most benefits?
i know of someone who changed ministry and had to take a paycut
i guess can't always assume everything to stay the same...

u shd check with Stat Board B if yours' counted as lateral/horizontal switch within civil/public service instead of 2nd guessing
