HAHHAHAHAhA... they will say they either offer
1. Golden handshake
2. Reemployment opportunities
3. throw a smoke grenade at the press to divert attention away. (as usual)
somebody try looking at ACE's juicy townhall pigeonhole questions... the amount of firefighting the leadership has to do is just.....
one can only ponder. with so many grievances, still haven't collapse.. LOL.

if the role tht u previously went for interview unsuccessfully for is now being advertised or open for hiring again (say barely 2 weeks after the unsuccessful outcome),
will u reapply?
what does that tell / show of the hiring organisation???
did they mess up in their earlier hiring??
is this fair to those who apply for the position but was unsuccessful after gg for panel interview?

If I'm the leadership, I won't even bother to wayang with a townhall.
I will just let them collapse.
The fact of the matter is that ACE is not needed anymore. Seriously. Even if all of them go on strike tomorrow, no difference. They are zuobo-ing now anyway.

Come on la, how old are you?
Reject you means you are not suitable for the role so they carry on finding la.
How is this unfair? You tell me? You mean they bobian must accept someone from their initial round of candidates?

2) Really naive
3) Living under a rock

cannot blame them either. i think its about giving time for them to find another job i guess..
and i believe a large number of them are really senior in age... cant find work other than to drive grab already.
i think its not so much about being surprised, its about how news is being handled, and how staffers will be managed moving forward for transformation...

Typical civil service style lor:
1) "Hello, your contract is unlikely to be renewed when it ends on [MONTH] this year"
2) "We have some job openings available on XYZ portal, feel free to apply, suitable candidates will be interviewed"
3) "We regret that there was no job postings suitable for you. Thank you for your service and we wish you all the best in your future endeavors".
If you are really senior in age, you should have accumulated some savings already ba. Just live frugally and do some easier part-time jobs ba.
