Not necessarily. I only knew I got promoted when the announcement was made. Really a shock that I got it. Lol

Hi does anyone knows if there are any teachers with a masters that went to further study and took their PHD/(EdD) in NIE? And will MOE sponsor their PHDs?

Normally, the SLs in the school would congratulate those who got promoted before sending out an email to inform everyone on the same day. But, nothing was said. The two KPs in my department who were earmarked for promotion were also very quiet. I don't think anything is official yet.

This mindset is quite narrow. Are you a parent? How would a four-day week impact the majority of parents with children? While it might be acceptable for upper secondary and JC students who are more independent, what about primary school children? Is our country prepared to support parents with school-going children attending school only four days a week?
