not really. in smaller firms with fewer layers in hierarchy the age gap distribution can be huge.
your bosses are in the late forties and fifties and the working executives are in their twenties and early thirties. so you wouldn’t have a noticeable gap with peers of similar age group.

To anyone who is thinking about joining big4 audit, here are some numbers.
Given that it is uni recruitment season, it is time to wise up.
I am from blue firm and here are the stats from one of the audit departments
G1: 58% sg 32% msian
S4: 62% msian 32% sg
S3: 64% msian 24% sg
Go figure. Of the sg that remains at s4 and s3, (>60%) majority are from SIT, SIM, SUSS + poly background. Go figure.

You’re scaring yourself into inaction, it shows your insecurities.
Do you genuinely believe you will “make enemies” by making a reasonable feedback? What world do you live in, that you believe it’s acceptable to “been forced to work to 3am everyday and even weekends”?
Or are you just too anxious, shy, and afraid to stand up for yourself?
But let’s say you’re right for discussion sake: no one listens to you, or you made a bunch of enemies. In that case, do you really want to stay where the culture does not allow you to voice out valid concerns?
