Furthermore the glass screen is one sided so the client can see what chiu doing from outside but you wont know they are there

If want to move on to better job, say so.
But please don't say you just discovered audit is not for you.

Are you the same poster that's been repeating this for several posts?
Why do you take it so personally when people say that audit is not for them? Very odd leh.
Do you feel personally attacked? Does it shatter your worldview or belief system? Did you construct your entire life's identity around being an auditor?
If not, why does it bother you if people start detesting audit? If you love the profession so much, good for you, happy for you. But why do you care so much about what other people do or think?
It's pretty clear audit (as a profession) has many many flaws and negative points, otherwise we wouldn't be having a close to 2k reply thread here consisting of people mainly complaining about it. These are all fair perspectives to be debated and discussed.

“Let’s be real”( your favourite phase). Discovering is parts and parcel of life. Who knows? You might start to discover tomorrow something about yourself when something impactful in in life hits you. You thought you can stay in audit but suddenly you cannot manage your family commitments with audit together and your mental health is deteriorating. You need a better work life. Sounds perfectly fine to me. Very honest here…

Not OP but those “you thought you can… but suddenly/later cannot” situations can be very very painful for your teammates.

Not op also, but resigned staff need to serve notice tho. So it’s not so sudden. I don’t know about other firms, but for yellow, if you resign during the peak, you may have to forfeit your non-encashable annual leave.

It really comes down to your relationship with your teammates. If you can’t stand them, you’re likely to hold a grudge when they handover their work you. But if you have a good relationship, you will wish them well and they will probably help lighten your workload before they go.
Usually, it’s a combination of both …audit wasn’t right for them and they wanted a better job. That’s why they left.

don't see how it is a problem. no reason to suffer because of this kind of emotional blackmail. notice period and contract exists for a reason. when a firm cuts you they do it without batting an eye dont gaslight yourself into thinking abt **** like this.
