Got idiot SM ask me before which procedures should we perform during interim. Hello, you are the manager leh. Shouldn't you brief the team on the procedures instead? The SM expects you to brief him instead and lead the discussion during partner meeting

Sounds like my SM too. Too reliant on seniors and associates while enjoying their 12k/monthly.

So SM is 12k per month? Bonus?
How old is your SM?
After SM is director?

You are paid based on your contributions and value add to the firm. And you really got to believe that everyone except the partners are squeezed hard in the firms. Everyone has only 24 hours and the partners expect the managers to know everything about their engagements and it is not one or two engagements only.

If you have that little dose of common sense you would know that there wont be any managers tendering if they are having it good.

“I dont mind doing stuff that is within my grade”-the fieldwork is precisely what you should be doing, not the managers, unless it is high risk areas in listed Cos.

So naive of you to say you will help out when you havent reach that stage.

So you really think the SM don’t know what procedures to perform at interims? Are you really that stupid? There are direct and indirect coaching. You are too low level to know what it is.

And you need to be daring enough to get the seniors to present in meetings. Cause there are too many idiotic seniors like you who anyhow answer and got pwned by partners’ baiting questions.

behkan and lazy SM spotted

lazy to explain just say lah. You must be those behkan managers who thinks coaching is just throwing everything to the staff and seniors and panic and kpkb when things do not go according to plan. I will make sure I pwn these stupid, lazy managers by doing the bare minimum so that you will tio kan by partner and client and hentak kaki. I know there are many beta staff who always get bullied by managers by I am not one of them.

You must be naive to think it’s coaching. Some managers really don’t know wtf is going on in the engagement that’s why they ask these seniors and associates to speak out during the meeting. There are even those managers that even agree what the seniors and associates discussed with them before the partner meeting, and scolding them when the meeting doesn’t turn well or turn as it is expected.
