But Golden Week is also the code for the week of November.
If you tender on the right day, you serve 1 month notice, so just nice last day will be before peak period.
But on top of that, your actual working days will be shorter than the normal notice period because of christmas and new year.
There was also one year where the IT department before christmas, so you return laptop a few days before christmas and go your merry way.

Bro
I will prefer to leave on the 2nd day after new year
At least you get 1 day to enjoy seeing everyone else so stressed up

The following tips help me out during my time, may or may not be applicable these days..
1) Cancel all Friday + weekend plans and be prepared to dedicate all your time to work.
2) Be on the ball, chase people for things, don't let people chase you.
3) Status update your seniors / managers / bosses frequently. Even if not much to update, just ask for a 10mins check in session. In my experience if you update people, the meeting will be short and only go through main items. But if you let them ask you for update, they want to talk about everything.
4) Drink lots of fluid and stay hydrated. Besides, you can get more restroom breaks.
5) Have your firm reference materials readily available.
6) Have some snacks in your bag in case you need to nibble anytime during the day.
7) When in doubt, just ask. No stupid questions. If something doesn't look right, it probably isn't.
8) Take redoxon tablets daily if you have them.
9) Join all the meetings, offer to take meeting minutes. Learn how your seniors prepare agendas and lead the discussions.
Good luck!!
