I never understood this.

The difference between A1 and S1 is only 2 years. And for those who joined in Oct/Nov, its like 1.8 years.

But as a S1 we are suddenly thrown with 300% the job scope and expected to act like an adult and do the hard carrying and take responsibility for your associates mistakes.

In my humble opinion, the difference in pay between A2 and S1 doesn't compensate adequately for this.

Well the pay jump used to be around 1k but now it’s halved
