To make a proper perspective regarding looks- For front facing positions be it IB, coporate banking and wealth management, candy like looking is obviously a necessity plus capability instead of just decent looks. Coporations have no shortage of applications all year round. For private banking is more of decent looks and networking whereas for sales and trading is more of ability to generate profits on L/S trades.
