Doesn’t matter. If you’re your boss’s pet, not joining team bonding won’t affect anything. If you’re not, even if you do all your work well and attend every activity, it still won’t help your promotion.

Applying for a AD post, and had a chat with HR.

Was told based on current salary they unable to even match and have to take more than 20% cut, telling me I should look at 15 months of TC to get back current pay.

Wanted to know if this is expected?
