MOM is not relaxed. But as a ministry, I think its one of the slowest IMO. And the dept heads don't have their supervisors in their office with them. Meaning they can simply leave office early and no one can stop them. I've seen this happen before first-hand. I initially thought my dept head had some meetings to go to, but in fact she headed home and openly said it, happened more than once, but I was just a temp survey monkey. That's the problem with ministries. So far I've seen this happen in Mindef and MOM. Due to the fact that departments work in silos and the dept head is the 'biggest' person in the office, there are no checks on him/her. That's where your taxpayer's money are going to btw, lazy civil servants.
My boss is a dept head, quite good life as can get high pay yet work from home most of the time. If she come office also go back on the dot..

Default Is this ok?

I have 16 years of IT experience in system analysis and software development. One of the stat boards offers me $7K for a senior position.
What do you think?

assume your annual package = 12mth + 1aws + 5mth bonus = 18mth

120000 / 18 = 6.6k

wow how did you hit 6.6k in just 5 years??

7k is definitely not a senior position. I guess your less drawn pay is not too far from what they're offering.

So how much for a senior managerposition? I have lost touch with the civil servants pay. I am not in sg now still deciding to take that offer. The offer is not too far away if it is 14 months.
