What sector are you in and what salary were you offered? Is this MX12?
Thank you very much. Sciences. 6120, with no AWS or whatever the HR person calls it I think NCAA or something. I'm not on MX scheme, should be the entry-level equivalent. I hope I can get emplaced, but very glad for now because my parents can finally shut up. Need to wait for the email to come now.

Hi, would like to ask how does the movement policy work? As I'm applying from a stat board to ministry, they mentioned they will negotiate with my agency. Does that mean my management will be informed about my job application?
If I were to go by this movement policy, am I allowed to quit and then join the ministry? Or I must work till the official last day and change over to the ministry?
Also salary wise, would it be higher to apply via movement or a direct entry?

Asking from the pov of a guy unsure how such policies work

As what the other poster asked, are all 7 years relevant? If so, you should gun for a MX11 which will naturally mean a higher basic. A person who joins service at MX12 as a fresh grade typically makes it to MX11 between 3-6 years.

There may be a variety of reasons as to why they are offering 12. It could be they don't deem all your years relevant. It could be that's the only grade they are hiring for now. In short, before you reject, suggest you speak with the HR to understand. So at least even if you walk away, you understand why.

I was promised on the phone 4.7x15mths package yet end up final offer is less than 4.5kx15mths which is super low ball. I don't think it has been professional n fair n even drag up to 4 wks from verbal offer to final offer. While is been shown at my basic is 6.

You should ask the Science guy above in one of the previous posts how he managed to secure 6.1k as a fresh grad.
