Adding in employer's CPF contribution is subjective and most people don't factor this in gross, however, you can do so.

In fact, you can use tax assessment total income / 12. Employer's CPF contribution is not factor in.

HR will normally use 14, 15 or 16 months forumula to estimate gross pay.
The rare sensible post thus far

Beg to differ. Graduate employment survey conducted by local uni & moe uses gross as just basic pay before cpf, bonus and other commission incentives.

I'm from HR so let me clarify.

Gross pay means the salary in the contract (no employer contribution, but employee contribution is inside)

Some friends tell me is super bad increment, to right away quit. Some say is good. What is really the average for normal mx scheme with second lower hons?

To myself. Like this will take 10 years to reach $7k or 8k. It is too slow.
Not bad leh, your increment is better than average.
how much you start off in 2017 ?
