If you’re sensitive to the word “sales”. Then be a stocks trader or join the bank.. Can also be rich. Don’t join the service and expect to find riches. That’s the wrong basis to start with!
Sensitive fools

Kek, uneducated mlm bastard. Continue to scam ppl and justify your beliefs in 'providing services' to your clients.

Hello, I'm the freshie you replied to. Everyone has their reasons here, to either showoff their annual package or portray their wisdom to tell youngster what to do. All this is good, but please don't disregard people who are genuinely and nicely asking how to perform a calculation. I am just comparing organisation A to organisation B because I am taking care of my interest, my family.
So just because I don't dress well, I won't deserve to know how the payment methods to buy a sports car? I probably posted a question beyond the ability of some very judgemental people.
I still hope someone can answer my query objectively.

The range is openly posted by ICA under Sgt scheme or officer scheme depending on your interest and qualification. I heard of people with diploma getting into officer scheme so, I guess either is possible.

HI, fresh grad here, quite inexperienced in salary matters. A Ministry HR has made a verbal offer of 3k. So my total package based on annual, I can just multiply by 15.8? So my annual package based on minimum C grade is 47k? I know that to compare properly with other private companies must see the annual package.
Thank you!

Are the private companies' offers better? If yes, take those from private companies.
Apart from the 13th month AWs, the remaining payouts are variable.
You should compare with the AWS included in annual package.

--- Estimating around 14-16 months annual package is about right. Keep in mind the end year 1.0 month is variable, depending on economic growth. There have been years when the quantum was 0.6. Same goes for the mid-year bonus of 0.5. What you can bank on is your 13 months plus a C bonus of at minimum 1.0. And yes, always compare annual package and not be swayed by monthly pay. Out of curiosity, what class of honours did you get and did u do NS? A bit surprised that starting pay offered now is $3K. That was what they offered around 10 years back for male with NS, and that was just after the global financial crisis.
