HI, fresh grad here, quite inexperienced in salary matters. A Ministry HR has made a verbal offer of 3k. So my total package based on annual, I can just multiply by 15.8? So my annual package based on minimum C grade is 47k? I know that to compare properly with other private companies must see the annual package.
Thank you!

With a salary of $3k as a freshie. You probably do not have honours? How much do you expect to earn? I think you should be happy that you are even offered a place in public service.

When I was your age, I was more concerned about not being able to learn fast enough. Or not being able to produce quality work. Salary was secondary.
If you’re really concerned over the annual package - go be a Property Agent or sth! You’re not going to find riches in service.

Yup, salesman like this is the mirrors of modern MLM which preys on fresh grads in creating a picture of luxury. This fool probably got rejected by public service. Ignore him.

**** you and the guy before. Sales is where you can earn money. Obviously a bunch of ignorant fools. What I’m saying is that if you want to join public service, the first principle is really to serve and do well, esp since TS is a freshie.
I gave property as an example. I cannot say the same for MLM. Why do you all jump into conclusions?
If you’re sensitive to the word “sales”. Then be a stocks trader or join the bank.. Can also be rich. Don’t join the service and expect to find riches. That’s the wrong basis to start with!
Sensitive fools
