sounds fair enough. I work in an affiliate organization to one of the statutory board and the package is usually 12 +1(aws) +3(bonus), so your package translates to 3k/months which is about right for bachelor with 2 years exp in my organization. fresh phd gets package ~60-65k/annum here.

I am planning to join SB (BCA, NEA or any related SB regarding building) in the near future.
Graduated in 2009 from NTU, no honors, engineering degree.
Currently having 5 years relevant experience in a MNC.

All-in annual package around 95k

1) Have been seeing lots of posts mentioning SB is paying well.
2) Current job requires travelling
3) Have better work-life balance

Just hope to get a SB job that pays as well or better, do not need to travel at all and less stressful.

My package does not translate to 3k/month. Am I missing something?

You're at most prob a SM/AD ie MX11 in a Ministry. I doubt you'll even hit SAD level, much less to say DD.


Anyone knows if Senior Manager in NEA is roughly equal to Dy Director in a ministry? I am now a SM in NEA with total 15 years work experience, thinking of applying for a DD opening in MTI, not sure whether they can match my experience in terms of job scope and pay.

you are asking for > 40% increment annually
