hi, does anyone been through internship in a ministry? do they usually make any return offer?

i m graduating next year may, applied for a job but they offered me an internship (this coming dec) instead... due to my lack of relevant deg but possess some experience that they are very interested in... so they wan me to go through the internship n see how i fit in. im wondering wat are the chances that they will make a return offer assuming i perform decently.

As with almost all internships offered by the CS/PS, you will most likely be tasked with a research project which you will do for the duration of your internship (4-8 weeks usually). The project is usually related to what the department does but it won't really give you the real insight of what the department does on a daily basis. You will most likely be asked to present to the senior management (or at least director level) on your project findings.

At best you will get to interact with the mentor/staff you will be attached to, and that will give you a good chance to find out more about the job scope as a full time employee and the working environment. Usually you would stand a good chance to go back to the ministry, and the department you interned for upon graduation

I am from a stat board. The ceiling of my current scale is at 9k.

What is the equivalent of that in CS? MX10 or MX11 or MX11A?
