I believe if you are as good as you said you are, u should be at least drawing 4.5 to 5k for 6 years worth of solid experience. 7k to 8k are reserved for those who know the financial domain and are indian nationals.
But because your last drawn is 3.5k, companies tend to use this as a base for your next increment. Good luck there fellow sinkie

I was fully educated in the US. I got my degree from University of Chicago. Admitted at 17
