You just need your interviewer or boss to have 3rd class or GPA below 2.5. People like to hire those who are similar to themselves. Try the SMEs.

Engineers tends to forget 1 very important factor: Variable bonus. Alot of Engineers only get their AWS whereas other industry tends to get alot more.
An engineer drawing 4k/mth will get 4x13 = 52k annually
whereas another person in a different industry drainwing the same amount per month but has 3.5 months bonus will get 4x(12+1+3.5) = 66k annually
compaing 66k with 52k is like having a 26% increase.

The variable bonus also means that an engineer drawing 4k may only effectively get the same amount of another working who is earning 3.15k but has a far more attractive bonus.

i having a degree in malaysia's university, with 2 years working experience, somehow i heard some company might treat u as fresh grad, if they giving me the pay same like fresh grad, is it reasonable? what is the fresh grad salary? thanks.
