Just like Dentons Rodyk, Withers KhattarWong etc., Eversheds-HarryE does not pay salaries at the international scale. It is impossible for 130 local lawyers to suddenly get pay raises simply because of the collaboration.
The collaboration allows HarryE to tap into some international contacts, allows the local lawyers to call up other foreign offices if questions of foreign law arise. But no salary raise.

What are the terms and implications of the financial mergers? The current batch of equity partners of Stamford, KW, HE have cashed out their 33% stake to the foreign firms. Future equity partners will buy into a reduced pool of the firm. Will this affect the type of equity partners these firm can attract?

they also gain equity in the foreign firms
anyway my view is that if you're in this forum, you're too junior for it to really have any implications for you

No la, they just have not been able to attract top talent with their old policy. Most of their trainees are weak second uppers and even second lowers.

Legal service pay progression
Hi, wondering if anyone knows how much lawyers at the AGC earn across the years - specifically at first, third, sixth, and tenth years? Also was hoping to hear what people think about chances of lawyers at AGC crossing over to the private sector.

Can i ask - if im expected to be called in March/April next year, when is a realistic time to apply for Associate position? I know there's never a perfect time, but it seems like now might be too early based on my enquiries?
