I was offered 3000, but no aws & bonus depending on performance. I ask HR and was told 0.5 - 1 mth variable is the norm. Quite pathetic considering the long working hours, definitely not attractive unless you run out of options.
Interview is the standard 3 rounds with different people, but was very disappointed with the offer esp during the interview the hr director acted like she was looking for only the best and not short of budget to pay.

They are offering 3.75k this year, and 2.1k allowance during the training period. I think its not bad for a fresh grad job, and you get placed into investment banks

Hi...I would like to ask, the 2.1k salary, is that the salary you be getting during the 2-year bond with the company? As I would like to hear more from those who underwent this programme. =)

It has already been mentioned that the 2.1k is during the training period. The training period will be 3 months.

Program to choose and guarantee of getting the 2-year contract
Can anyone tell what are the differences between the 5 different programs here in Singapore? (In terms of ease of being employed in financial industry, salary, skills learned.) I am thinking of applying as a 'Business Analysis.'
The official site lists 5 programs which are divided into 2 pathways:
Business learning pathways: Project Support Office, Business Analysis
Technical learning pathways: Software Development, Production Support, MX.3 Production Support.
I have also seen many people on LinkedIn having been trained as a consultant for over 10 months and not getting any 2-year job contract yet. Does this mean that the trained consultant is not guaranteed the 2-years job contract?
Thank you

current employee
Just wanted to give you guys a quick update as I am an employee currently in FDM who has gotten the short end of the stick...
Yes, during training (2-3 months depending on which area you train in) you get around $2.1k a month. After that you get $3.75k a month ONLY AFTER YOU START YOUR FIRST DAY WORKING FOR ANY CLIENT. There are people who get "placed" with a client during training and start working for FDM's clients seamlessly, however there are many others like me who have had to wait. All this time no substantial answers from their staff save for "we're working on your placement and the contracts".
I have never heard of any of my colleagues getting bonuses.
Personally I waited for some 4 months before I started - so I drew $2.1k a month during these 4 months. Heard that there are others who have waited for 6-12 months because of some screw ups!!!
And not to forget, you have a 2-year contractual bond to work for the clients, however the 2-year period DOES NOT START until you start your first day at work with a client...and you won't be able to leave FDM at all during this period (and up till you have worked for at least 2 years with their clients), or you will have to pay back the training fees (which are in excess of $40k)!!!!!!
So guys please think carefully before you join them...you could be in a very long limbo with no career progression if you are damn suay...

Anyone here completed the 2 years FDM program as Software Engineer and found a better job? Can share the prospect regarding FDM?
