Somebody in another thread asked a similar question but for a different IT consulting firm. All these IT consulting firms are like recruitment agencies. If you are really desperate for a job, then you take it. If not, avoid at all costs. Luxoft, Cognizant, FDM, upskills, optimum solutions, etc they are all the same, just different shades of grey. Look into the contract. The devil is in the details.
If you really want to do IT in banks, then apply for the firms which provide the IT software to banks directly, like Murex.
If you are good, you are good. If not, you can try these IT consulting firms if you are really desperate. But be prepared, they tend to over promise and under deliver.

Ya I also would rather be a direct hire but because I am joining without a CS background, hard to find a job that will be willing to teach also.

Same ,, looking at this forum , looks like 2.1k for training and 3.75k after you sign with client. But the info is from years ago...
Personally, right now 3.75k looks good for me if the rates still the same. I have a friend who enter Big4 , first year 3.6k , second year 4k. if u average it out 3.75k is like a good deal.
Another friend who got into testing for bank with 0 experience was around 3.6k...
May I know how things turned out for you?
