i applied LTA on 1 June, called up for interview few days after Position Closing Date.

Mid June attend interview. 3 days later, HR called me to offer but must wait 2 weeks donno what clearance.

I'm already working in LTA, roads, for many years already. I really love the work environment here.

Why do you say that? Maybe it depends on the department.

hello, are you a fresh grad ?

got an job interview on last thurs at one of the stat boards, was told there will be a second interview, but till now no contact, so does that mean i am out of the selection?

anyone applied for MCI recently? what's the usual wait and how many rounds? Went for interview last Thursday... HR manager didnt really say timeline for waiting, just that there are other candidates they have to go through so will keep me informed... aargh the wait.

Is there a time period where ministries/stat boards mass hire? Thanks!

Sorry, hijack this thread as I am not comfortable starting one with my account. This seems the closest to the topic so I'll reply as unregistered here.

Does anyone have experience moving from one Ministry to another, particularly as fresh hire (i.e. not scholars/MA rotation)? Inter-ministry transfers please share your experience too.

Let's say I am currently in Ministry A. If I apply for Ministry B, will the HR in Ministry B inform the HR in Ministry A?

Ministry A pays better than Ministry B. But Ministry B has an interesting opening with more supervisory responsibilities, so I reckon that would be better for my career advancement, if I get it. So I would like to try but don't wish to jeopardise anything with my current Ministry.

Any advice will be appreciated. Thank you.
