Civil Svc/ Statboard - Typical Timeline for making a Hiring Decision

Does anyone know what the hiring timeline at SPRING is like?

I applied for a Manager / Senior Manager position on 1 Oct, received an invitation to complete a video interview that very night, and did the video interview on 3 Oct (though the deadline was 9 Oct).

My status still says "In Process" on the Careers.gov website today.

written test+ interview on the 20th September. have emailed them but they said they're unable to advise on the outcome yet.

I've been waiting since beginning of September they told me 2 weeks but it's gone on for a lot longer. Called them after a month and they said they have yet to reach a decision.

i applied LTA on 1 June, called up for interview few days after Position Closing Date.

Mid June attend interview. 3 days later, HR called me to offer but must wait 2 weeks donno what clearance.

2 week later HR called say all OK. HR told me if i want to sign the Letter first oso can, I tell her after medical check up results lor. Told me wait another 2 weeks for Medical check-up.

Mid July, after medical check up passed, offered a job.

Happily working.

One round of interview only?

Hi guys, i just wanna check if i got charged in ns for bringing camera phone to camp as an officer, will i still get G50 clearance? The outcome of the charge is stern warning as I can explain why I did it. Thanks in advance for helping me!

Yes I'm a Diploma holder. Maybe degree holders need to go through 2 rounds of interviews.

i think no issue because my platoonmate in NS was charged due to some reasons, he is now working for a Ministry. His charge was more serious than yours. 😉

Hey thanks for replying me! But cause im applying for dsta. It might be higher security than other ministries? Or dsta is probably the same g50 as the other ministries?
