Only thing that has my salary and leave entitlement is in the verbal offer email.

I always thought I had to sign on a document which clearly shows my job title and salary etc. but I was not told to sign a document like this.

The offer letter I signed merely showed my start date. Anyone had similar experience? How was your offer letter like? I.e. the one you signed formally did it contain other info?
what SB or Ministry is that?

I had the impression that that is excluding the 13 month.
there is a component called NPAA, that is your 13mth. your gross is what you receive every month, doesnt include bonuses if im not wrong

Hi guys, if you’re half decided and still hesitant about a position, when is it the time to communicate the acceptance or rejection? Is it usually when the HR verbally offer you or after the verbal offer when they come back with the LOA? Would it be totally rude to reject signing the LOA at that stage?

It also seems like the verbal offer is not 100% exactly what they will offer in the LOA.

Appreciate any comments, thanks

Don't feel bad about rejecting offers, it's your career and it is a major part of your life. If the terms verbally offered doesn't appeal to you, maybe can inform them that it's unlikely you will take up their offer. If the LIA and verbal offer got diff, all the more to highlight to them. Usually they will send you the LOA beforehand so that you can look through first, before the actual acceptance which is done over teams usually.

Usually 1. HR will give verbal offer (via phone call/email) -> 2. check if candidate is keen -> 3. prepare LOA if keen -> 4. sign

If you are juggling multiple offers, my best advice is for you hold on to your offers as long as you can. To answer your question directly, I usually give them my answer at stage 2, this is because I don't want to waste their time and effort to prepare the necessary documents just for me to reject them...most of them have to go through Vital / their in-house contract team to prepare the LOA/contract and I feel it's not very polite to reject them at that stage xD It will definitely burn bridges if you were to turn them down at the LOA signing stage LOL
Hence, to preserve your bridges and not piss HR off, I think it's best to communicate clearly at stage 2. Usually HR can give you up to 3 days to consider the "verbal" offer before moving to stage 3. If you need more time just ask how much time they can afford to let you think.
