Are you confused because you thought the range quoted meant that you would get a base of 3.6 excluding other components that will bring it up to a higher figure based on the range?

Sorry for the typo, I couldn’t edit the message after posting it. I meant 3.6k-3.7k. So it was written on the email (verbal offer) that I’ll be receiving a gross monthly salary between 3.6k-3.7k. However, when I received my LOA, it was written 4k as my gross monthly salary instead. So I’m wondering if the difference is adjusted because of my Uni grade classification e.g., second upper or any other reasons that anyone could share! Thanks

If email offer states x amount and includes allowances does it include NS also?

Is NS allowance already taken into account here?

What you sign matters, at least its 4k and not lower than what was verbally offered. But then, can always double confirm with the HR POC

allowances will only include those that the company pay structure has

eg transport allowance, telephone allowance

if u r referring the jacking up of your monthly salary becos of the 2 years of NS, they would have taken that into computation when offering you the pay package

Hi for gross salary its prolly inclusive of the 13th month. (4k x 12) divide by 13 its 3.7 (within the range given). But then again, you can just ask the hrbp for clarification.

Is the gross monthly salary in the offer email really inclusive of 13th month?

I had the impression that that is excluding the 13 month.

Why is it that I only accepted the offer and did not receive appointment letter?

Only thing that has my salary and leave entitlement is in the verbal offer email.

I always thought I had to sign on a document which clearly shows my job title and salary etc. but I was not told to sign a document like this.

The offer letter I signed merely showed my start date. Anyone had similar experience? How was your offer letter like? I.e. the one you signed formally did it contain other info?
