Mine is still at sending application and waiting for news to being called for interview.

Well if by Fri still no news I would write in to ask again. But I think if they never reject you outright then there's still hope if you can afford to wait.

if they hoot the rejection email out, at least applicant can move on rather being left in limbo.

and the update is good to go or?

i don't know if i shud whatsapp the HR person to ask if the post is still open after last week's phone call to clarify the CV stuff...haven't reach interview round shortlist though
