1) Movement policy is literally lateral trf. Same pay, salary grade.
Will revert back to probation period for 1 or 2 years.
Current ministry/SB has the upper hand to
hold your trf up to 3 months for them to find your replacement
Benefits will depend on the ministry/SB
The good thing is can get full year bonus like AWS, PB.
2) New hirer can nego on salary. Request for higher pay.
The bad thing is any bonus will be pro-rated.
Btw i went thru e movement policy from SB to Ministry.

Now probation period is 1 or 2 years? Meaning they giving contract for a perm role ?

1) mine was 2 years (depends on SB/Min)
2) Yes, convertible to perm based on performance
3) Btw another gd thing the Long Service Award
from current SB/Min will follow/remain in movement policy
