same here. After the second interview, HR requested me to fill out a form and informed me that they will proceed the recruitment process and put up approval, but never mentioned the package yet.

When i ask is it consider verbal offer, being told its no not verbal offer. HR shared again, verbal offer will only be offer once the package is ready and mgmt approve.

Was just checking careers@gov and realised my application to LTA that I made yesterday is already unsuccessful. How efficient!

I am honestly kind of annoyed because I don't understand why my application didn't even warrant serious consideration. From the listing requirements, I am sure I hit every one of them. So is LTA flooded with damn good applicants such that they're immediately rejecting people who fulfil all the requirements set out by them??

While I appreciate the quick rejection rather than permanent "submitted" status, I feel like my efforts to make all these applications are not even taken seriously...

You will be surprise how many applicants. I remember an article who claim for every single post, there's around 70~100 applicants. Then there's also seeking transfer and internal referral candidates. This grp stand a higher chance.

Anyway, dont give up, try again.

Hi all,

Will like to seek your advice on accepting a job offer from A*star. Quite keen in the job but the only consideration is that it’s indicated as a 3-year contract and I’m worried about what happens after 3 years.

Thanks for the advice...although I had thought that I was an attractive candidate. First class from local uni, and I met all their other requirements so I am really frustrated. Either the other applicants are insanely qualified or HR is messing around? LTA isn't even a super competitive stat board right...? Been told last time that good grades at least gets you an interview, but I am totally not seeing this happen. Really quite dejected. I don't know what else I could have done.
