anyone familiar with the timeline of hiring within SkillsFuture? have applied for a role (which i initially was labelled unsuccessful in the portal) though was contacted (a month after closing of the role) for an interview with HR, hiring manager, AD and Director in the same call.
was contacted a week later for another round of interview and now it is 2 weeks past that and total radio silence.
should I just approach the HR or hiring manager to enquire or would it be "bad manners" to ask about it?

Previously was a dip graduate, working in a ministry.. during my stay, I went on to pursue a degree and tendered for a better prospect job after graduation but was then affected by Covid-19 & was unemployed for some time.
For the past 2 yrs, I have been looking for a stable job with decent benefits. Most of the jobs offered to me are short term contract, hourly paid, jobs with no or limited benefits -- had no choice but to accept it for the time being.

Administrative role. I think the process of hiring will be very slow during this period as all 5 local poly will using that new system next week.

Happy for you! You had a short waiting time to be honest.
I've been waiting for 8 weeks since final interview. I applied in March and we are approaching July in two days.

I know this question been ask many time before.
Just to seek clarity, currently all min/sb only offer contract position?
HR call to inform keen to process and jnformed its 2 yrs contract for the first instance.
During interview, HR manager informed its a permanent role so I'm confuse.
HR then explained contract at the first instance is standard across the board but assure i can be converted unless i perform badly.
Anyone care to advise?

Yes, almost all are 2 years contract first. Perm role just meant it is not a temp role which is a few months only or hourly rated.

Wondering if one year contract is common too? One year seems short, and the organisation keeps renewing on a one year basis?
