Civil Svc/ Statboard - Typical Timeline for making a Hiring Decision

just curious anyone from stat board jumping to any stat board?

was offfer 9% increment. but I got to forgo my pb and 13th month.

any hr personal can advise if its possible to increase the increment any further? as I would like to try out the new role. The new stat board mention its the best liao given the current situation. not sure if its true.

I feel Honestly 9% to jump for is not worth forgoing pb and 13 month.

And 9% increment is not say good. Not say bad its the average.
HR could give more because their budget usually got a range.

I suggest you to try nego on the point that you are forgoing ur package to join.

Can join if they willing to delay joining till the pb etc is processed out to you. Which can be mentioned beforehand

Ps op. I think u should fight for a higher pay. Average jump is 10 to 15% for a new role if u can fight for it

I think i am taking a risk that next year pb is not good or not given infact..

Asked around and pb during Sars was 20 to 50 lesser than usually gave
Cause now no Dec pb also already

Oh ur pb and aws quite far away.
Like this you need to evaluate.

Is ur new job
1. More progression given
2. You like it more than current job
3. Hard to get like you fighting alot of peep for this post

If all 3 hits. The benefit outways the negative.
It's worth scarificing abit for a better future

Forgo pb and AWS for your current company i suppose. Your new company will still provide you the pro-rated pb and AWS from your new starting pay.

If i am you, i will take the increment under the following circumstance :
1) your current salary gonna stuck
2) you will not get promoted any time soon
3) you do not see your future in current company

Only transfer between ministries will protect your bonuses. Transfer between stat boards will not.

How long will HR send reject letter after final interview? Within 1 to 2 weeks or longer? If they offer job offer, is it gonna be faster than reject letter? Email HR bo reply think no chance liao. Sad.

1.5 months after interview
No reply.

Just wait wait wait till rejection letter come lor.
If not its a phone call of offer haha
