However, till now, there has not been an update every since my last correspondence with them on 23 May.
May I know from this situation, where do I stand in terms of getting hired? Any inputs are greatly appreciated, thanks!

I was offered a position with one of the govt agencies. I am a current employee of a govt agency
Was given two options to consider - (1) join under movement policy or (2) resign and give my my years of service. However, I was told by the offering agency Hr that the offered salary and substantive grade would be about the same no matter I choose option 1 or 2.
i have friends who resigned from one agency to join another with higher salary and a few even with higher substantive grade. Hence I wonder if there is any case where existing public officers move under movement policy as there is no advantage in resigning and joining another agency as a new entrant?

Hi all, I just received a call from a ministry with a verbal offer after two rounds of interview but according to HR, they will still need to get approval from the director (1-2 weeks). However, HR has yet to mention or discuss the salary and benefits. Will they take the expected salary that I submitted during the application via careers@gov (which I understated in the application form, sighs) or will I still get a chance to negotiate my pay?
