Yes, I have been through that.
Indicative offer (ie with likely offered monthly numbers) retracted

In some cases, they fail the G50.

But HR is told not to disclose the G50 failure.

my own encounter was

interview cleared.
g50 cleared.
Submission to PS level
whilst waiting for the indicative offer to be formalised, then the hiring side's u-turn happen

the SB or Ministry ought to be more prompt to reply
