Walao public or civil service mostly hire only Singaporeans and some PRs. Non Singaporean only hire through outsourced contracts leh..you don't know?

You will be shocked how many foreigners are hired in *some* public sector.
And they are direct hire.

The ratio of foreigners to locals is surprisingly shocking.

Yes, I too, got a rude shock of my life.

Also, some people who hold high positions in the public sector are not local.
