Based on my understanding during my time in a Min, all jobs will be on a "contract" basis. Perm emplacement will subjected to performance after 1 year. If not, you will either get extended or not. I felt the objective of this "contract" to treat it like a long probation for both parties. You will still get the same benefit as the perm staff.

(Do note that there is contract job in the govt sector which will be stated upfront)

Do correct me if i am wrong guys.

Anyone knows how long does reference check take? It’s been around 2 weeks for me.

yup correct. perm headcount at ministry is one year contract probation.

stat boards dont practice this though. some is 2 year renewable contract and converted upon good performance

How many rounds of interviews did you go through? I just went for my first interview earlier this week and hr mentioned shortlisted candidates would be further advanced to a tea session + another round of interviews, not sure if you went through the same process as well.

Applied sometime in mid-Feb if that helps.

Hi, can i check on HTX hiring process. Middle age applying engineer role.

I attended the informal interview last week. Whats usually the next steps? I asked but the informal panel interviewers told me will update me again.

I want to prepare as i understand from this forum will need to fill in background check forms and submit education certs, doc etc. Usually when this stage happen? Purpose is hope to speed thing as the process is too slow. But if only happen after I'm selected or "pick" then no point as i dont know I'm selected or not.

Same here, went for the first interview and was informed there will be a second interview with HR, if selected. But they never requested for any documents such payslip or education certs, etc like the usual recruitment process.

Interviewed 2 weeks ago. 2 weeks later called and tell me to interview for another position. anyone has any experience? does it mean the first interview didn't get selected and they recommend for another position?
