On behalf of my fellow seniors, so sorry for your experience.

The thing is associate to senior is just a very brief 2 years. When I was associate, a lot of my friends also swore that we will do everything in our power to change the system when I become senior.

But when you become SA, you will realise how things work, and become “one of them”. A lot of times we have no control, no power, and if we don’t downward delegate, we can’t get things done. We are also just employees like you even though you may think we are the bosses.

The word “senior” sounds very big but honestly we are just people who join 2 years earlier than you.

I still feel like a greenhorn very often.

Do you ever have that feeling when you are looking for an adult and then realised you are an adult so you look for an adultier adult?

Erm, not sure where you got that number from, but it’s definitely not accurate at least for audit.
