I had consulting experience although h applied for general tap too maybe that’s how I got the consulting pods, but many who were in my batch from the general tap hardly get consulting. Majority of the consulting pods end up having applicants from the consulting opening.

For the consulting pods, most slots will be given priority to the consulting analyst opening applicants as that’s what the opening is for. Not that it’s impossible for the general tap to get into the consulting pods, but the number are very little.
