I applied in late October and got the offer in Early January. If you applied in Feburary, and haven't even gotten a reply any more than thanking you for your application, you should consider your application rejected.

If you don't mind, you could list your qualifications, clubs, and activities, and perhaps the people here can help you to make a better assessment.

By doing better.
~3.7 GPA (A-) at top 10 US university; Economics and Political Science major and psychology, philosophy, and history minor, president of Investment Club, played on the Rugby team. Won multiple bank case comps, and also TAed a couple clases. Also was on the Hong Kong National Team training squad for Rugby but gave it up due to injuries.

Second Lower with no extra circulars with significant (30+ hours a week) probably indicates that you either don't have the ability, are really bad at time management or some combination of the two.

Dude, you think this is wall street? Quit flexing. MAS hires people with the passion to serve Singapore and Singaporeans. That is #1. If you can't even show that, forget about a career there. And humility is a trait.

Fortunately for our country, being driven and wanting to contribute to the country are not mutually exclusive like you would want to believe.

F*ck off you will get your pay cut soon lol. the rest of the industry is doing so badly; don't see why the Gov won't take the chance to cut your pay. Get over your ego and those questionable figures quoted plz

Is there any tangible difference between joining as a graduate officer, as opposed to joining later on i.e. mid-career switch? E.g. in terms of exposure, learning or education-related opportunities and so on.

Also curious as to which departments do people usually try to apply for... and why?
